The time has come, The Spyglass Inn is reopening for the 2021 season. In accordance with the latest government guidelines, we can only open outside seating only, but it’s good to be back! From Friday 16th April, our deck will be open, every day from 12noon until around 6pm ish. We’ve been busy making sure our outside seating area is ready and while we will try to stay open as much as possible, the weather may interfere on occasions. So just in case, come prepared for chilly days, showers and even the sun… it’s typically British, but we love it! Please note: We do have a few house rules that need to be followed (otherwise ye will walk the plank). Also now, when in a group of shipmates, every member must fill in their contact details, unless under 16 years old (don’t forget to download the track and trace app to make this easier). Dear customers, We wanted to share the Spyglass opening hours with you for the Christmas period and the next couple of weeks. The team at The Spyglass has decided to close on Christmas Day this year so everyone can be with their families at this time of year. Hello everyone! Here at The Spyglass Inn, we have taken the decision of reopening on Friday 4th December 2020 and we are really looking forward to welcoming you all back. We have been busy getting the pub ready for your return, making sure you have a safe, friendly and welcoming pub, the one that you know and love. We will be open and serving food from 12:00 to 20:30, seven days a week. The last entry to the pub will be at 20:00. As a reminder, government guidelines stipulate no drinks can be served after 22:00 and doors will close at 23:00. Please remember we are still operating the rule of six and require everyone to wear a face covering when entering, exiting and moving around the pub. Dear customers, We find ourselves again in the position of having to close due to Covid-19. Before we enter into Lockdown 2.0, The Spyglass Inn would like to thank all our lovely customers who have supported us over the last few difficult months, as we have tried to adapt the business to ensure the safety of yourselves and our wonderful team. Hopefully, this time round won’t be as long and we can welcome you back for the festive season. Please keep an eye on social media as we will keep you updated on what we are up to. For now, we will serve food as usual up until 5pm Wednesday 4th November and close our doors at 6pm.
